FIRST MEETING

Last Friday was our first service learning meeting. The meeting went kind of good.
Mrs. Klose Announced the objective for the group. Which is to make ONE MILLION dollars for the Hurricane Katrina soil. Then she showed us some pictures she took when she was in New Orleans. Then she showed us a video that explained exactly what the Million dollars was going to. In the video it showed some soil that couldn't produce any flowers of plants. They inserted some special crops that could eat away the bad soil and form new good soil. They explained that the crops cost a lot of money. AND that's were we come in. By creating art work on the "Funderd Dollar Bills" and selling them for one dollar, we could rise money to help support the cost of the special crops.
